Happy Halloween 2022! You can now enjoy the holiday event in the OSRS game from 26 October to 16 November. Here is a guide for you.

Start Point

East of Varrock West Bank

Requirements

You need at least three pieces of Holiday costume.

Walkthrough

Holiday Costume

Head to the east of Varrock West Bank, and talk to any Costumed child beside the green cauldron to get a Treat cauldron.

Right-click on the child and select the Holiday costume. Take at least two pieces of them. If you have some in your bank, withdraw and wear them.

Wear them (the two pieces of Holiday costume and the Treat cauldron).

Treats Gaining

Now you can play Trick-or-treat. There are multiple ways to gain treats:

1. Right-click on Men, Women, and Guards by selecting the trick-or-treat option. And each gives you 3 - 5 treats on success. Note: You cannot trick or treat the same NPC in a short time.

2. Find the following NPCs to gain 100 treats each.

King Roald in Varrock Palace

Aggie in Draynor Village

Party Pete in Falador party room

Hetty in Rimmington

Duke Horacio in a room on the first floor of Lumbridge castle

Generous treater will also give you 100 treats, but his location is constantly changing. We don't suggest you go to find him for treats. Give up if you cannot see him south of Gypsy Aris' house or east of Horvik near the fountain in Varrock.

You can also gain treats while training the OSRS skills: Mining, Woodcutting, and Fishing.

You must have at least 720 treats to get all the rewards.

You may get some Spooky eggs, Old wools, Bruised bananas, and Smelly socks when gaining treats. Don't drop them. You can go to world 2 (east of Varrock west bank) to see if someone is buying these items and selling them for OSRS gold. No players buy them now. They bought them as they thought these items would be rare after the event.

Rewards

When you have enough treats, head back to the start points, and deposit them into the Great cauldron to get your rewards.

Note: You can deposit your treats at any time after receiving them. No matter how many you have gotten.

The rewards include:

Halloween wig

Witch costume: Witch hat, Witch top, Witch robes, Witch boots, Witch cape

Two noted pumpkins

Two noted Halloween mask sets

The previous events' reward items (claim from Diango or the children before 16 November)
