OSRS Halloween Event 2023 Guide
Here comes the Halloween event 2023 in the OSRS game. Uh, wait. This event is a repeat of 2022. But it is a bit different from the previous one.
Why Repeat?
All Old School Team staff are busy with upcoming updates and game changes like Varlamore, the Sailing Skill, the Leagues IV, and more. So, they decided to prioritize developing these projects and have players replay last year's Halloween event.
What's New?
Is there something new happening in Halloween 2023? Yes!
You will get new rewards for every 90 treats deposited into the great cauldron. The new rewards include the Cobweb cape, the Spider hat, the Trick emote, and the Spider hat.
And also, you will get two Halloween mask sets and two Pumpkins.
Required and Recommended Items
At least 3 spooky pieces like the Spookier set, Hunting knife, Ungly halloween jumper, etc
A charged Amulet of glory
Lumbridge teleport
Varrock teleport
Stamina potion
Walkthrough
1. Talk to any Costumed child beside the green cauldron (east of Varrock West Bank) to get a Treat cauldron. (Chat 2)
2. Claim three spooky pieces from the child by right-clicking on him and selecting Holiday-items. Wear them and the Treat cauldron.
3. Trick-or-treating the following 5 NPCs for 500 treats:
Iffie Nitter - Thessalia's Fine Clothes store in Varrock (west of the general store)
Elsie - upstairs in the Saradomin church in northeast Varrock
Town Criers - walking around the northeast of the west bank in Falador
Ned - in a house northeast of the bank in Draynor Village
Lumbridge Guide - Southwest of the bridge and northwest of the Church
4. Then, right-click on Men, Women, and Guards by selecting the trick-or-treat option. And each gives you 3 - 5 treats on success.
Note: You cannot trick or treat the same NPC in a short time.
5. When you get 720 treats, go to the start point and deposit them into the Great cauldron to get your rewards.
Periodically, the Great Cauldron will spawn pumpkins and Halloween masks for any nearby player to loot. If you want to get more masks and pumpkins, you can camp there for them.
This event has started since October 18th, 2023. But the end time has not been determined yet. Please participate promptly.
