OSRS Ernest the Chicken Quest Speedrunning Guide
We introduced the OSRS Quest speedrunning in the last blog. Today, we will write a guide of Ernest the Chicken to help you complete it in four minutes to get the trophy and reward points.
Before Running
You must have good internet and be skilled at TICK click.
Please confirm all the doors are open before start running.
Use the space and number keys to make all dialogues go through quickly.
Note: If you made some mistakes during the running, abandon it.
Walkthrough
1. Talk to Veronica to start the quest (Chat 1). You don't need to end the chat. Just begin running when you see the timer appears.
2. Eat or drop the Tuna while you run to the large door.
3. Climb up the staircase and pick up the Fishing food in the room south of the stairs containing the ghost.
4. Climb down the staircase and pick up the Poison in the room south of the kitchen. Use the Poison on the Fishing food while running to the south room.
5. Search the Bookcase in the south room to enter the next room.
6. Climb down the ladder.
7. Complete the lever puzzle to get the Oil can. You can drink all doses of your Energy Potion while completing the puzzle.
> Pull Lever B, then Lever A.
> Go through the east door and pull Lever D.
> Leave the room and pull Lever B, then Lever A.
> Go through the three doors to the room with Lever E and F.
> Pull Lever F, then Lever E.
> Go through the doors to the room with Lever D and C. Pull Lever C.
> Go back to Lever E and pull it.
> Leaver these rooms and go through the door to pick up the Oil can.
8. Climb up the ladders, then pull the lever to leave the room.
9. Click on the minimap to the east room and pick up a spade.
10. Open the door and run west.
11. Follow the path until you find the Compost heap. Search it for a yellow Key.
12. Go south and use the Poison Fishing food on the Fountain.
13. Search the Fountain for the Pressure gauge.
14. Go back to the manor and open the door next to the staircase to pick up the Rubber tube.
15. Climb up the staircase and climb up the spiral staircase to the west.
16. Talk to Professor Oddenstein. (Chat 1-2) You don't need to finish all dialogues.
17. Talk to him again to complete the quest. Hold your space key because there are more dialogues.
