OSRS Giants' Foundry - New OSRS Smithing Minigame
On 28 February 2022, the OSRS team first announced the name of Giants' Foundry - a mystic skilling update. After months of secrecy, they untied the mystery of this skill update.
And it will be live in the game on June 8th! Gather your resources and prepare to help Kovac find the perfect sword design.

What is Giants' Foundry?
Giants' Foundry is a brand new non-instanced and non-combat safe OSRS Minigame for Pay-to-Paly players to train the Smithing skill. And it is the second minigame for Smithing training in the OSRS game. The minigame aims to make Smithing more exciting and engaging.
Requirements
Sleeping Giants Quest is the only requirement for playing the minigame. And a level 15 of Smithing is the requirement for the quest.
How to Play?
1. Withdraw some metal bars suitable for your smithing level or what you want to use.
2. Pick up a commission from Kovac described using two descriptive words like narrow and spiked.
3. Choose a mould that matches the description from Kovac's Mould Library. If you choose the mould closest to the descriptive words, you will be able to make a higher-quality sword.
4. Put 20 metal bars, a mixture of two or more different metals, into the crucible, and the crucible will heat and liquefy them.
5. Pour the molten metal into the mould.
6. Refine the sword with the following tools.
Trip Hammer: Hammer out the imperfections on the blade when the sword is at a hot temperature.
Grindstone: Grind out the edge and make it smooth when the sword is at a medium temperature.
Polishing Wheel: Clean up the blade and gives it a lovely shiny finish when the sword is at a cold temperature.
Lava Pool: Dip the sword into the lava and heat it up to use the Trip Hammer.
Waterfall: Use the crashing waves to cool the sword to use the Grindstone and Polishing Wheel.
7. Hand the sword to Kovac once it is 100% completed without ruining to acquire Smithing experience and Foundry Reputation.
Rewards
You will receive the Foundry Reputation in addition to the Smithing experience as the rewards. And you can use the Reputation to purchase items from Kovac&rsquo's Reward Shop.
Ore Packs: The Packs contain a variety of ores.
Moulds: The Moulds can help you improve the sword-smithing process in the minigame.
Eight-Cannonball Mould: You can use the mould to smith eight Cannonballs with two steel bars.
Smithing Catalyst: It can halve the amount of Coal and double the experience when you create Bars at a furnace.
Kovac's Grog: A brew that gives you a temporary Smithing boost of +4.
Hill Giant Club Ornament Kit: A skin item used to change the Hill Giant Club to be a Giants’ Foundry-themed giant sword.
Giants' Helmet: A cosmetic item with no stats.
What's More?
The answer is NO. We believe that the minigame's content is insufficient and that the rewards are insufficient. So where are the smithing pet and the smithing outfits? Maybe some players will say " this is no 07 scape"
