OSRS Game Jam 2023 Projects - Hunter Expansion & New F2P Boss

The first OSRS Game Jam of 2023 came to us on April 24! J Mods has created some projects while players listed some ideas during the past few days. Today, we will share some of them with you. Please note that all the following contents are only concepts, meaning they may not be polled or added to the game.

Hunter Expansion

More creatures may be added for the OSRS skill - Hunter, such as Capybara. And also, you may have a chance to get more new pets from a diverse set of wildlife.

Many players liked the idea and expressed their thoughts to the OS team to support it. And one player even said: "How much money do I send to fund this?" Thank you, sir. But it seems that Jagex doesn't need your money.

And there is another good idea from players - Integrate taming into Hunter and make a pet dungeon. It must be the best idea for the Hunter Expansion.

New F2P Boss

In the game, now only Bryophyta and Obor are for F2P players, and other bosses are exclusive to members. How about a new F2P boss? J-Mods have created a new F2P boss that teaches core mechanics like movement and gear/prayer swapping! The boss may have different levels of difficulty and maybe even something more customisable.

Most players may hope the new boss is easier to access (not like the Bryophyta and Obor). It's boring to farm keys by killing hundreds of Giants.

The boss is now a model of a rat. It has three forms with Melee, Ranged, and Magic attacks.

Of course, a new boss means new rewards. But no more details are shared right now.

Do you want to see more new F2P bosses in the game? But don't have too high expectations for it because its drop value should be like the other existing bosses, and there must also be some difficulty in getting to it.
