OSRS Combat Achievements Points & Rewards Future Change
Have you ever seriously specialized in achieving combat achievements? What is your motivation for completing combat achievements? Did you spend a long time on an easy task but haven't completed it yet? Many players feel that the current rewards do not match their efforts. Jagex heard that and provided a solution in Poll 79: Combat Achievement Points.
Current Reward System
You must complete all tasks of the same tier to claim your reward. For example, you must complete all 33 easy-tier tasks for the easy-tier rewards. In this way, you may spend a lot of time on Moss giants for Mossy keys. Easy tasks are not easy!
Future Reward System
The rewards depend on how many combat achievement points you have gained. It will be easier to get these rewards because you can complete higher-tier tasks to compensate for achievement points that are difficult to achieve from lower-tier. Sound great!
Combat Achievement Points
After completing each task, you will get combat achievement points, 1-6 points per task, depending on the task's difficulty. Once your points reach the threshold for unlocking the current tier rewards, you can claim them from Ghommal.

For example, if you have completed the following tasks, let's see what tier rewards you can get.
Easy tasks: 21 points (21 x 1 point)
Medium tasks: 38 points (19 x 2 points)
Hard tasks: 63 points (21 x 3 points)
Elite tasks: 120 points (30 x 4 points)
Master tasks: 80 points (16 x 5 points)
In total, there are 322 points, and the threshold for unlocking the hard-tier rewards is 304. So you can get the easy-tier, medium-tier, and hard-tier rewards.
According to the current reward system, you cannot get any rewards. After the changes, it looks more reasonable.
All you need to do is to complete all tasks that don't require much time for you as much as possible to gain points so that you can get higher tier rewards. Isn't it cool?
