OSRS Tempoross Boss Quick & Easy Guide

Tempoross is an OSRS minigame-style boss that you can fight with the Fishing skill. It's one of the Fishing training methods.

Requirements

35 Fishing

Required Items

A hammer, A Rope, A Harpoon, Some Buckets (five or more)

Although you can find all the required items in Tempoross Cove, we suggest you bring them before boarding the ship.

Getting There

The fastest way is to teleport to Al Kharid with the Amulet of glory and use Ferryman Sathwood's boat (south of the Al Kharid bank).

Read Before Starting

Whenever you lose your items during the fight, replenish them immediately. You can find them on the ship.

Once you see the message: "A colossal wave closes in..." in your chatbox, quickly click the totem pole (near fishing spots) or masts (on the ship) to tether yourself to it. If you fail to do it, the wave will destroy some items in your inventory.

Once there is a message: "A strong wind blows as clouds roll in..." in your chatbox, some fires will soon spawn on the ground. Extinguish them with buckets of water. Walking through or being hit by a fire, you will lose some items in your inventory.

Repair the totem pole and masts when they damage.

You must deplete the Energy to 0% before the Storm Intensity increases to 100%.

You have three chances to damage Tempoross. If you fail to kill it, you will not get any reward.

Fight Tempoross

1. You will find a ship to the west of the dock. Climb the rope ladder and wait to begin.

2. Once you arrive at Tempoross Cove, run to one of the Harpoon fishing spots and catch 7-10 raw harpoonfish.

3. Cook the raw harpoonfish at the shrine near fishing spots.

4. When the double fishing spot appears (marked green if you use Runelite), move to it and continue fishing.

5. When your inventory is full, cook them all.

6. Run to the ship and load all fish into the harpoonfish cannon ammunition crate.

7. Go back to the fishing spot, and catch more raw harpoonfish.

8. Cook and load them until the energy bar decrease to 0%.

9. Damage Tempoross to kill it.

You can damage it three times If you want to gain more points.

Rewards

Fishing and damage Tempoross will reward you with fishing experience. Fixing the totem pole and masts will reward you with construction experience. Cooking harpoonfish will reward you with cooking experience.

You can also gain one reward permit for the first 2,000 points and additional permits for every 700 points beyond 2,000.

You can fish with a big or small fishing net near the dock (southwest outside the bank) to get your rewards. One catch consumes one permit.
