Old School RuneScape's 9th Birthday Event Quick Guide Full-length
Old School Runescape is now 9 years old! Let us celebrate it together by joining the grand party in Al Kharid. A party? Wait a second. There are no monkeys to chase, cat ears to craft, or cakes to bake, but only a treasure hunt, a fishing contest, and a burnt pizza for My Arm?
Reaching and Starting
Use the Ring of dueling and select Al Kharid Duel Arena to teleport to the gate. Then head south to Al Kharid palace. Or you can teleport to the palace directly using a charged Amulet of glory. Speak to Hassan to start the event. After talking to Hassan, he will give you a Notes. You can check for the tasks you should complete.
Task I - Larrys Fishing Contest
1. Talk to Leprechaun Larry, who is lying next to the Gnome Glider.
2. Go north and fish at the Bait Fishing spot(failed).
3. Talk to Big Dave nearby.
4. Talk to Ali Morrisane for a different bait.
5. Speak with Osman and answer his question with '3'.
6. Go back to Ali Morrisane and get the bait.
7. Try to fish once again and get the tiny fish.
8. Bring the fish to Leprechaun Larry to complete the task.
Task II - My Arm’s Cook Off
1. Talk to My Arm, then Hans, Cook, and Wise the old man.
2. Take one Pot, Bucket, Tomato, Cheese, and Banana from the cupboard.
3. Fill the bucket with water and the pot with flour. Use the water and the flour to make a pizza base (cookout). Use the tomato on the pizza base to make an incomplete pizza (cookout). Then use the cheese on the incomplete pizza to make an uncooked pizza (cookout). Cook it on the Clay oven to receive a plain pizza (cookout). Use the banana on the plain pizza to make a banana pizza (cookout).
4. Use the banana pizza on My Arm.
5. Talk to Hans again.
6. Cook the banana pizza again to receive a burnt banana pizza (cookout).
7. Use the burnt pizza on My Arm again to complete the task.
Task III - Capt' Arnav's Treasure Hunt
1. Speak to Capt' Arnav in front of the bank of Al Kharid to receive a clue scroll - Treasure clue one.
2. Dance while facing one of the statues next to the fountain.
3. Talk to Ranael, the shopkeeper of the plateskirt shop.
4. Talk to Zeke at the scimitar shop and answer the question with '30' to receive Capt' Arnav's chest. (There is an option for 'open', do you want to have it a go?)
5. Bring the chest to Capt' Arnav to complete the task.
End the Party
Finish Old School RuneScape's 9th Birthday Event by talking to Hassan again. After a short cutscene, you will receive the rewards, including Skis, two noted Half full wine jugs, any previous birthday event item, and any previous birthday event music track.
