OSRS Spirit Seeds - Obtaining, Planting, and Trading
Let's guess that you must have some spirit seeds in your bank. These seeds are untradeable, member-only items in the game. You can plant them at level 83 Farming or trade Guildmaster Jane for Seed Packs in the Farming guild (requires 85 Farming to enter).
Obtaining
You may get spirit seeds in many ways:
High-level monsters & bosses: Demonic gorilla, Tortured gorilla, Fossil wyverns, Zulrah, Vorkath, Alchemical Hydra, Abyssal Sire, Lizardman shaman, Deranged archaeologist, Hespori, etc
Bird nests: Bird nest (seeds) & Bird nest (Wyson)
Supply crates: Supply crates from Wintertodt
Seed packs: Purchased from Void Knights' Reward Shop for 15 Pest Control points each
Tier 5 Seed packs: Reward from Guildmaster Jane for completing a farming contract or trading Guildmaster Janespirit seeds for them
Planting
You need a level 83 Farming (can be boosted from level 78 with spicy stews) to plant spirit trees. You can have one spirit tree planted at level 83, two at level 91, and no limit at level 99.
Firstly, you must plant a spirit seed in a filled plant pot with a gardening trowel in your inventory. Then water the spirit seedling with a watering can. Wait for five minutes to make it sprout into a sapling.
Select a spirit tree patch and plant it. There are five patches for planting the spirit tree: Port Sarim, Etceteria, Brimhaven, Hosidius (at 35% favour). You can pay the gardener 5 monkey nuts, 1 monkey bar, and 1 ground tooth (kill the Suqah that live on Lunar Isle for a Suqah tooth and use the pestle and mortar on it) to watch it.
Planting a spirit tree gives 199.5 Farming experience, and checking the full-grown tree (it takes 3840 minutes to be full-grown) gives 19,301.8 Farming experience.
Trading
You can also trade Guildmaster Jane spirit seeds for tier 5 Seed packs (1 seed for 5 seed packs) in the Farming guild (requires 85 Farming to enter).
The average expected value is around 85K OSRS gold coins per seed pack. And also, you have an approximately 1/22 chance to get another spirit seed from these seed packs.
Although spirit seeds are untradeable, you can trade them for other tradeable seeds for profits.
