New Changes on RuneScape Membership & Shop Items Prices
Jagex plans to change the Membership & Shop items prices for new members on May 4, 2022. It is the fifth change since the game began to charge. With rising development costs and changes in the overall economy, this is, of course, understandable. Moreover, the price increase rate of membership is far lower than the growth rate of your income. We believe that the vast majority of players will accept the prices increase.
RuneScape Membership Price History (monthly charge)
Since they introduced the monthly membership in February 2002, the price has changed five times - from $5 to $12.49. We can see each change and the increase rate compared to the last membership price in the table below:

You can redeem a bond in the game for 14 days of membership, and also you can sell it for OSRS gold coins on Grand Exchange. Players who have purchased bonds will not exchange them for membership in terms of price but prefer to sell them through GE in exchange for gold coins.
We expect that the price of the bond selling in GE will be a little lower than before in a short time. If you are a real F2P player who redeems bonds for membership, you can buy some bonds for later use.
